TICKET FAQs

DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTED TICKETS FOR GROUPS?

Yes, groups of 15 or more receive 30% off tickets, Welcome Announcements, and multiple incentives.

DOES MY TICKET FOR THE AFTERNOON SESSION GIVE ME ACCESS TO THE NIGHT SESSION AND VICE VERSA?

No, a ticket for an afternoon session does not allow seating on Stadium Court for the evening session. It will allow you to remain on-site and enjoy the entertainment, food, beverages and the matches on the outside courts. A ticket for the evening session will not allow access to the tournament site until one hour before the evening matches begin.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

If the tournament or a session(s) is postponed or cancelled due to weather or other causes beyond our control, Tournament management will make every effort to reasonably accommodate the individual session ticket holder on a subsequent session, if held.  The Delray Beach Open cannot guarantee ticket availability, exchange of equal value or comparable seat location. All ticket exchanges are final, and there will be NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS. In addition, patrons are advised that the event Schedule of Play is subject to change for all sessions. Tickets are not eligible for refund or exchange due to one or more changes in the Schedule of Play. Rain delays could last 15 minutes or a few hours. Once it stops raining, it could take 30-45 minutes for the courts to be dried depending on the amount of rain received. Pay attention to local weather forecasts and radar to track any inclement weather that may develop. Announcements and rain-delay updates will be made in the Stadium Court and on our video boards located throughout the site, as well as on our website.

AS A COURTESY TO OUR FANS, BE ADVISED THAT ANY INDIVIDUAL TICKET HOLDER WHO HAD A TICKET FOR WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 2017 DAY SESSION (SESSION 9) IS ABLE TO EXCHANGE THEIR TICKET FOR EITHER OF THE FOLLOWING SESSIONS ONLY:

WEDNESDAY EVENING SESSION:  (SESSION 10)

THURSDAY DAY SESSION: (SESSION 11)

FRIDAY DAY SESSION: (SESSION 13)

WHAT IS A SESSION?

A session is a designated schedule of multiple matches within a specific period of time. Some days will feature both an afternoon and evening session while others feature solely an afternoon or evening session.

HOW MANY MATCHES ARE IN A SESSION?

A session can be two matches played on one court and as many as eight matches played on three courts. The number of matches planned for each session can be found on the Schedule page.

DOES MY CHILD NEED A TICKET?

Children 2 yrs and younger are permitted on-site without a ticket.  The child must be able to sit on the parents lap the entire time.

DOES MY TICKET ALLOW ME TO WATCH MATCHES ON THE SIDE COURTS?

Yes, your ticket gives you a seat in the stadium and access to the side courts on a first come first serve basis.

IS SMOKING PERMITTED AT THE DELRAY BEACH STADIUM & TENNIS CENTER?

No, smoking is not permitted on stadium grounds.

WHAT ARE THE DATES FOR THE 2017 DELRAY BEACH OPEN?

WHERE IS THE DELRAY BEACH STADIUM & TENNIS CENTER LOCATED?

201 W. Atlantic Ave. Located in the heart of Atlantic Avenue, welcoming everyone to world-famous downtown Delray Beach, Florida.

WHAT CAN I BRING INTO THE FACILITY AND WHAT IS NOT ALLOWED?

All bags and persons may be subject to search:

The following items are not allowed in the facility: No backpacks, coolers or large handbags shall be allowed in the tennis center. All bags or other items will be subject to search.

The following items are allowed in the facility: Cameras, one (1) sealed bottle of water per person, extremely energetic individuals who want to have a super entertaining sporting experience.

WHERE DO I PARK AND WHAT IS THE COST?

Official parking is available in multiple lots surrounding the Delray Beach Stadium & Tennis Center. We suggest you park only in those specially designated parking areas. Both general parking and valet parking is available. Simply follow the parking directional signs starting on Atlantic Avenue. Fans with parking passes should follow the color-coded signs matching their parking pass. Public parking costs are $5 – $20 – prices subject to change.

WHEN DO THE GATES OPEN?

Gates open one hour before the session begins.

WHAT FOOD AND BEVERAGE OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE ON-SITE?

Fans may choose to enjoy a 4-star dining experience at Mark’s Too, the on-site restaurant, or a sampling of local favorites at the extensive Food Court. For quicker “grab n’ go” items, many snack and drink stations are available serving pretzels, popcorn, sodas, espresso, tea, hot chocolate, and desserts. Also popular is the Drop Shots Beach Bar, featuring beer, wine and mixed drinks.

PLAYER FAQs

WHERE IS THE MATCH SCHEDULE & HOW DO I KNOW WHEN A PLAYER IS PLAYING?

The ATP CHAMPIONS TOUR schedule can be seen on the Schedule Page.
Once the ATP World Tour draw is made (Sat., Feb. 18), the tournament committee will schedule the opening round of matches that are played starting Mon., Feb. 20. Each night following the matches, the tournament committee will schedule the matches for the following day.

HOW DOES A PLAYER QUALIFY TO PLAY IN THE MAIN DRAW OF THE ATP WORLD TOUR EVENT?

Direct acceptance: This accounts for the majority of players in a draw and is based on a players’ ATP Entry Ranking at the entry deadline.

Wild Cards: These are granted at the tournament’s discretion – three are awarded.

Qualifying: The qualifying tournament is for players who were not ranked high enough to get into the main draw via ‘direct acceptance’. The Qualifying draw consists of 16 players. The players that win two rounds are placed into the main draw – four in total.

Special Exempt: Reserved for players who are unable to compete in the qualifying competition because they are still competing in another singles tournament on the date the qualifying competition begins.

HOSPITALITY & SPECIAL EVENTS FAQs

CAN I HOST A PRIVATE EVENT AT THE DELRAY BEACH OPEN?

Yes, multiple hospitality events take place in the Hospitality Pavilion, the event’s exclusive on-site air-conditioned tent. Private, charitable and corporate events may host between 80 – 200 persons and include Stadium Court Reserved or Box seats.

WHAT TYPES OF SPECIAL EVENTS ARE HOSTED ON-SITE?

Special Events include: Ladies Day Luncheons, VIP – Sponsor Party, Box Holders’ Reception, Chamber Bash and corporate and tennis club dinners/fundraisers are held in the on-site Hospitality Pavilion.  Adult and junior tennis events include: Legends Clinic, ATP Player clinics, Pro-Am, USPTA special events, Kidz Day, NCAA College Matches and more are held on the outside tennis courts.

ARE THERE ANY SPECIAL TICKET PROMOTIONS FOR SENIORS?

Yes, we are proud to offer all seniors special discounted tickets on Senior Days.

WHAT HAPPENS ON USTA KIDZ DAY DURING THE EVENT?

Participants enjoy tennis matches and games, art, crafts, face painting and more. Following the Kidz Day Activities, ATP World Tour tennis matches take place on Stadium Court.

DO YOU HAVE A “FOOD DRIVE?”

Yes, you can donate eight non-perishable food items for one complimentary ticket.

CAN I HIRE THE VOLLEY GIRLS FOR A PRIVATE EVENT?

Yes! The VolleyGirls can court a crowd well-beyond the dimensions of their Delray Beach Stadium Court. Their sporty spirit topspins over into private parties, sponsor functions, corporate events, Bar & Bat Mitzvahs, Quinceañeras & Quinces, weddings, social gatherings and more. VOLUNTEER FAQs

HOW DO I VOLUNTEER?

People interested in volunteering can fill out an application on our volunteer page. Applications will not be accepted after December 31st – please follow the directions outlined on the forms.

WHEN ARE BALLKID TRYOUTS?

Ballkid tryouts are generally in December. A child must be at least 12 to be a ballkid. Call 561-330-6000 for more information.

HOW DO I GET A MEDIA CREDENTIAL?

For information on applying for media credentials, please contact the media coordinator, Lisa Franson at lfsportsmedia@comcast.net. Notification of confirmed or denied credentials will be sent via email.

DO YOU HAVE AN INTERNSHIP PROGRAM?

Yes, we have a 6 month internship program that focuses on sales, sports marketing, special events and administrative work.
