EVENT LOCATIONS, PRACTICE COURTS, HITTING LESSONS/CLINICS & MORE

We are excited to announce that the below public and private facilities will be involved with the 54th anniversary of the USTA Clay Court National Championships.  Please view the below IMPORTANT NOTES as our goal is to play as many singles matches before Noon, in case we have weather issues in the afternoon.

IMPORTANT— Give yourself ample time to travel to each facility (traffic in S. Florida is busy during the weekdays from 7 – 9am and 4 – 6pm)

• Boys 18s Sites are approximately 15-20 minutes from each other.
• Boys 16s Sites are approximately 10 minutes from each other.
• Boys 18s & 16s Sites are approximately 40 minutes from each other
• Weather pending, ALL Boys 18s & 16s matches will be moved to the Delray Beach Tennis Center (DB) for the final three days.
• Check-in 20 minutes before your match times and double-check your Site Abbreviations on the Draw.
• Practice Courts: View the below full list. Pre-event, there might be a minimal ‘practice court’ fee. During the event, there is no practice court fee at the match sites (upon arrival, ask the Site Director which courts are available for practice).

HITTING LESSONS/CLINIC

Pre-Tournament Clinic (Sat., July 8, 2023) &/or Hitting Lessons:

BOYS 18s MATCH & PRACTICE SITES

• Facility Rules: Only service animals allowed, no other pets.

  • July 5 – Thu, July 6: $10pp per 90 minutes
  • Friday, July 7: $5pp per hour (1 – 8pm, club closes at 8pm): 10+ courts available
  • Saturday, July 8: $5pp per hour (Noon – 6pm, club closes at 6pm): 20+ courts available

• Directions: From I-95 Exit Glades Road (go west), thru Jog/Powerline Rd, community on right, go through guard gate, courts straight ahead on left and straight ahead (tell gate you are with the USTA Tennis Tournament).

• Club Rules: Follow signs for parking (important) and wear a mask if entering the Pro-Shop. Main Clubhouse is for club members only and players may congregate at the O/Brien’s upstairs anytime, and on the facility patio (only after 11am). Thank you for your understanding.

  • Pre-event, do not call to reserve courts, please check in at the Pro-Shop for availability
  • During event, courts are 1st come, 1st serve (no reservations) – must check in with the Pro Shop for court assignments: 10+ courts (7:15 – 8am), 6+ courts (8am – 6pm)

BOYS 16s MATCH & PRACTICE SITES

*Weather pending, ALL Boys 18s & 16s matches will be moved to the Delray Beach Tennis Center (DB; 201 W. Atlantic Ave., Delray Beach; 40 min. from the below sites) for the final three days. The event is creating a televised Highlight Show for each event (B18 & B16).

  • Saturday July 8, 2023: Complimentary practice courts, call facility to reserve courts… facility closes @ 7pm.
  • Sunday, July 9 –  Thursday, July 13, 2023: Complimentary & 1st-come 1st serve, cannot reserve courts (check with Site Director upon arrival)… Facility opens @ 7am, no  courts available before 7am… 10 (7 – 8:15am), 1-2 thereafter

• This is a practice site for the B16s Divisions.
• Club rules: No pets allowed; Access to the locker rooms is available for restroom purposes only.

  • $10/pp/hour – max 4 players on the court
  • Availability: 7 am-6pm
  • 4 courts (8 – 11am) + 6 – 8 (11am – 6pm)

• Gate: Let security know you are a participant at the ‘USTA Nationals.’
• Stringing: $25/racquet with your own strings, $20/racquet plus the cost of the strings available in the shop

PRACTICE AT NON-MATCH SITES (NEAR BOYS 18S DIVISIONS)

BOYNTON BEACH TENNIS CENTER (Clay Courts):  561-742-6575. 3111 S. Congress Ave, Boynton Beach, FL 33426.  Directions: From I-95 Exit Woolbright. Head West to Congress. Turn left (going South) on Congress. Tennis club on the corner of Congress and SW 30th (on right). MUST call 24 hours in advance to reserve courts as availability is based around member bookings; PLEASE DO NOT JUST SHOW UP AT FACILITY. $10pp+ up to 1.5 hours.
