The main draw for the 2021 Delray Beach Open by VITACOST.com was released Monday in advance of the season-opening ATP 250 tournament.

Chile’s Cristian Garin, who has won a pair of titles in each of the past two seasons, is the No. 1 seed, while top-ranked American John Isner, a four-time semifinalist at the tournament, is the No. 2 seed.

This year’s tournament features a 28-player draw, affording the top four seeds first round byes. No. 3 Adrian Mannarino, who has been to the quarterfinals or better on three occasions in Delray Beach, and No. 4 seed Hubert Hurkacz will join Garin and Isner with an automatic berth into the second round.

The draw includes three past Delray Beach Open by VITACOST.com champions – No. 6 seed Sam Querrey (2016 winner), No. 8 seed Frances Tiafoe (2018 winner) and Ivo Karlovic (2015 winner).

Defending champion Reilly Opelka withdrew from the tournament Monday after a practice session at the Delray Beach Tennis Center citing a knee injury. Milos Raonic, who was projected to be the top seed, also withdrew Monday citing personal reasons.

Main draw play will begin Thursday.

In order to accommodate spacious conditions in the stadium and throughout the venue, attendance for each session at the 2021 tournament will be capped at 2,000 people, just under 25 percent of the outdoor stadium’s total capacity.
